Looking For Ways To Eat Healthy?

Community Food Educators can help you learn to buy and prepare tasty and nutritious food.

We’re trained volunteers who:

• Conduct food demonstrations
• Lead cooking classes
• Give presentations
• Organize supermarket tours

Invite a Community Food Educator to come work with your community group. We can cover topics such as:

• Healthy eating
• Cooking with kids
• Label reading
• Canada’s Food Guide
• Cooking for one or two
• Healthy eating on a budget
• Cooking skills

Sessions can vary in length to fit your needs. A $20 administrative fee is charged for each session, and any food costs must be be covered by the  requesting agency.
